We are having a baby!!!!!! I can't tell you how excited we are! We took a home pregnancy test 1 month ago, and today I just had my first doctors appointment. They told me that there is less than a 5% chance that I will have a miscarriage, so I've decided to spread the news far and wide!! Here's a picture - I had to scan in the pictures, and I'm not any good with high tech stuff. Sorry!
I have been sicker than I've ever felt in my life!!! I've thrown up 30 times (yes...I am counting), and I've lost 19 lbs! I can't eat, and I'm miserable. However, I was given a miracle prescription at the doctors office today, and I haven't thrown up for at least a few hours!!! And I was able to eat a couple of crackers. Amazing! We have been trying for over 2 1/2 years for this baby, and we can't believe that it's finally here!! My official due date is Feb. 2, 2009. So exciting!!!

yay! that's so exciting! i can't imagine being that sick... i've been more sick with this pregnancy than with my last two, but not nearly as sick as you sound! i hope the meds keep working so you can have a more pleasant experience!!!! hopefully it goes away pretty soon too! congrats!
Congratulations! I am so excited for you guys. Boy things are going to be a lot different for you guys. In a very good way that is. Hopefully by week 12 you will start to feel better. I was so sick with my first. They gave me meds and they didn't work. I am glad they work for you. By about week 16 it was like night and day for me. I felt so much more alive. Make sure you have Kirk take pictures. You will want at least a couple with your cute belly.
Yahoo! I am so excited for you and Kirk! Pregnancy and having a baby is simply amazing. Especially when you have been trying or a while, trust me I know. Hopefully the sickness stops soon. Everyone is different, I could finally eat a real meal around 16 weeks. And hopefully you will feel better when work starts up again. Are you going to keep working?
I was wondering if I could still stay with you when I come to Education Week at BYU-I at the end of the month? It will give you a taste of having a little one in the house.

YEAAA!!! I'm so excited for you!!!! I hope you start feeling better! Sometime I'll tell you a funny story about how Tarin was sick her first trimester and I thought she just had a stomach problem. I'm really naive, but it really did worry me. Okay, that's actually the whole story, so I guess I won't have to tell it later. I love you guys! Congrats!

Oh MY!!!!! Congrats! That's AMAZING. I swear EVERY person I know that has recently gotten pregnant has been sicker than dogs! Krid and Janean have both been so sick. It's kinda making me think it's not such a good idea J/K, anyways I'm so happy for you! You better keep the blog updated cuz I'll be checkin :)

Janelle Janelle Janelle Janelle!!!!!! I am just so thrilled for you! My mouth dropped way open and I totally loved the photos! We are like a week apart! So my baby looks just like yours at this point.
Anyways, that is the best news in the world. Enjoy this one as much as you can; you only get one first pregnancy. Write down everything you can. Oh, I love you and I'm so estatic!

Yay! Congratualations you guys!! We are so excited for you. I remember all I wanted to eat in my first trimester was nectarines... and it was winter in Rexburg and there were no nectarines to be found... anywhere! The only thing that got me through was Jamba juice! Good luck with everything! Congrats again!!

Congrats to you both too!! We know how the long awaited pregnancy feels (3 years for us) So we are oh so thrilled for your new little baby too.
